Government in its quest to remove all barriers to education of the female child has implemented a programme that is aimed at increasing educational opportunities for Ghanaian young girls across the country.
Against this background, Mrs. Grace Agyemang Asamoah, the District Chief Executive for the Atwima Kwanwoma District Assembly has today distributed sanitary pads to students of Afia Kobi Apem Girls Senior High School at Trabuim in the Ashanti Region.
She admonished the young girls to take their studies seriously and aim high towards their academic goals.
