In accordance with section 28 (1) and (2) (a) of the Local Governance Act, 2016 (Act 936), the Atwima Kwanwoma District Assembly has held its Second Ordinary Meeting of the 5th Assembly’s Conference Hall at Twedie today.
Hon. Grace Agyemang Asamoah, the District Chief Executive for Atwima Kwanwoma District Assembly urged the
August House to work together as a team to discuss and approve the 2026 fee fixing resolution and 2026 Annual Composite Budget.
She also called on all to as well work diligently to approve the 2026 Annual Action Plan and the 2024 Auditor-General’s Report.
On Wednesday, October 15, 2025, the Atwima Kwanwoma District Assembly hosted the Atwima Mponua District and the Atwima Nwabiagya South Municipal Assemblies respectively on the occasion of a Budget Hearing at the Assembly’s Conference Hall at Twedie.
This was to ensure budget allocations, reflect government policies and objectives, and to achieve economy, equity, efficiency and effectiveness in financial resource allocations.
The specific areas the hearing covered included strategic overview, narrative statements, financial data and revenue improvement action plans.
