The 2024 edition of the Farmer’s Day celebration of the Atwima Kwanwoma Municipal Assembly, that was held at Dida saw Nana Osei Bonsu of Mpatasie, as the Overall Best Farmer for the 40th Farmer’s day.
The best Farmer has 90-acre of land in the in the farming areas of plantain, cowpea, cassava, coconut, maize and many others. He is also into livestock farming comprising of sheep, goat, cattle and poultry.
As part of the award he received, he had a certificate, 15 bags of fertiliser, knapsack sprayers, cutlass, a brand new tricycle (Aboboyaa), mattress and so on.
The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Prince Karikari, Lawyer Kofi Amankwa-Manu, MP of the constituency, and the chairman of the occasion, Nana Opoku Kwarteng, Otumfour Krakessehene III, together presented the items to the Overall Best Farmer.
