9 MEMBER BAVARIAN DELEGATION VISIT ATWIMA KWANWOMA DISTRICT ASSEMBLY

A 9-member Bavarian delegation led by Mayor Rolf Beuting, from the city of Murnau Germany, has officially visited the Atwima Kwanwoma District Assembly for the second time.
Welcoming the Mayor and his entourage to the district, the District Coordinating Director, Madam Eunice Korankye, reiterated the long-standing mutual partnership between the two sister cities (Murnau and Atwima Kwanwoma).
She acknowledged the handwork and dedication made by Nana Antwi Agyei Brempong, Atwimahene and Mr. Owusu Osei Albert for their relentless efforts over the period.
The director thanked the German partners for their support to the Assembly, adding that their second visit was a testament of commitment and strengthening of the ties between the two.
Mr. Beuting said their visit was to enforce a better partnership between the city of Murnau and that of Atwima Kwanwoma.
He stressed that the two cities will continue to look for opportunities, tap in and collaborate well to build a stronger relationship going forward.
The mayor indicated that they would do whatever within their means to support the Atwima Kwanwoma District as they have done already.
They then proceed to the Twedie Technical Institute where they are working on a project and also to the district Fire station to inspect the fire tender, they donated to ther service through their partnership
