The District Chief Executive for Atwima Kwanwoma District Assembly, Hon. Grace Agyemang Asamoah together with the District Director for Education, Mrs. Doris Ofori and their entourage today trooped in to Manhyia to grace the Otumfuo Community Reading Challenge (OCRC) at the Otufuo Osei Tutu II Jubilee Hall at Manhyia.
The event seeks to promote English and Twi reading amongst Junior High Schhol (JHS) Students in the region.
The District was represented by Miss Magdalene Duodu Akwabang, from the Manual International School from Atwima Boko in the district.
The Reading Challenge is organized under the auspices of the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation.
After a stunning performance of all three rounds, Duodu Akwabang was adjudged the 4th best reader in the region.
