The Atwima Kwanwoma District Assembly, under the dynamic leadership of Hon. Grace Agyemang Asamoah, has clinched a major continental accolade, earning the Excellence in Socio-Economic Development and Service Delivery Award at the African Public Service Optimum Awards.
The ceremony, organised by The Business Executive Group, lit up the La-Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra on Wednesday, 12th November 2025, drawing public sector trailblazers from across the continent.
Hon. Agyemang Asamoah and her team were celebrated for driving transformative development, strengthening local economic growth, and delivering responsive, citizen-focused services that have positioned Atwima Kwanwoma as one of Ghana’s most progressive districts.
The award marks a fresh endorsement of the Assembly’s results-driven governance approach and its commitment to uplifting communities through innovation, accountability, and inclusive growth.
